Middle School Athletics

All middle school students wishing to play a sport for Excel Academy Charter School must provide proof that they have had a health physical in the past calendar year to participate. They must provide proof of a current physical BEFORE they will be allowed to practice or compete. If your child already got a physical to compete for a club team, rec league, or other sport team, they can use that physical for the upcoming school year, no need to get another. If the physical expires before the end of a particular season or the end of the school year a new physical must be obtained to continue. Physicals are good for a calendar year.  Physicals can be performed by: a physician, physician's assistant, nurse practitioner, or certified/registered chiropractor. Physicals can be done by a family physician, Walgreens, The Little Clinic, etc as long as it is done by one of the aforementioned providers.  The purpose of mandatory physical is to allow coaches to know of any limitations your child may have, and plan practices accordingly. Excel Academy K-8 Charter School Sport Schedules: 24-25 School Year

Practice days are Monday-Wednesday 3:30 pm - 4:45 pm
(No practice on game or meet days)

Cost to play all sports is $100.00: Jerseys will be given to athletes after the payment has been made.
