Message from Ms. Allen

Good afternoon Excel Families!

Excel students and staff celebrated "Day Without Hate" and the made wishes on the "Wishing Tree".  What a great way to great way to end the month of April!  Watch our Inside Excel Newscast which focuses on these two events.  Additionally, we are sharing two photos showing a special project Girl Scout Troop 66515 worked on as well as the presentation of a Challenge Coin from the Arvada Police Department to one of our 4th grade students.  We are all so proud of Excel students!

On a less celebratory note. In the event your student's cohort needs to quarantine or if your student needs to quarantine at home due to exposure to COVID-19, please help reduce the spread of COVID-19 by following all quarantine guidelines.  If your student is having to quarantine due to exposure at school, you will be sent a Health Notification which details the quarantine process.  Thank you for your support in keeping everyone healthy.

Mark your calendars:

  • MAP and Dibels testing next week
  • Virtual Field Day: May 7th (that's next Friday)
  • Monday, May 17th will be an asynchronous day for Middle School Only; K-5 will not have school this day.
  • 8th grade celebration evening of May 27th (details to follow)
  • Last day of school is half-day (11:30 dismissal)
  • We will be sending out a sign-up genius for the return of devices for our remote learns as we get closer to the end of the school year.
