We realize that families have a lot of options for where they send their children to school. Here at Excel, we are a community of students, educators, and families committed to enriching instructional experiences that are flexible and appropriate for every child.

Our CORE VALUES set us apart at Excel. We are very clear about the work we are doing to educate 21st-century learners and what it takes for us to be a community in service to that work. These are student core values we are focused on at Excel. You may see your student come home with a SOAR ticket. This is evidence that someone in the building saw that student doing something that exemplifies these values. We launched SOAR this year and students are excited. Each week we draw names in the office and highlight students who have been recognized. Classrooms are also recognized. A focus on these values helps us always look for the best in others and these words connect to both our curriculum for social-emotional learning and our initial work toward what it means to be a highly effective school.
